POST N°1 A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT : SPAIN

I'd like to visit Spain, in specific Barcelona or Andalusia. An interesting thing in Spain is the cultural diversity present in the different nations. From the French influence in Catalonia or North Africa in Andalusia. So for me it would be an interesting place to go and lose myself in the different landscapes that a country like this offers.

Andalusia

I like the music scene that is developed there. A new wave of urban music with inspiration of traditional music. The art in different ways is interesting there. This is why I would like to go to concerts and museums. And you know, I would like to party. A Spanish artist that I have listened to these days of confinement is Dellafuente, who is from Andalusia. A place where a peasant anarchism strongly developed

                                                        La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona

If possible, I would like to go to study, because I feel that one connects more with the place, its times and its rhythms, if one actually lives there, and not as a tourist, but with how difficult things are now, hopefully be able to go anyway.

  1. I'm convinced if I go to spain someday, I'd feel weird hearing their spanish accent everyday and everywhere! That'd surely be crazy for me!

I know we chileans aren't the best example of "good spanish-speaking" sometimes. But that spanish accent always feels "funny" for me. I don't know how to explain it.

  2. I agree on that there's a bigger insight with following studies in the place.

Task: All aspects of the task are well handled.
Lexis: Appropriate use of lexical resources
    Grammar: Grammar is adequate

Post N°4 My pet

Continuing the story from the second blog, how I found the Cleme (check it out). When I found her she was very skinny and her nipples were sore. Some small spots of blood can be seen. And little by little she got fat and became healthy. At that time living in Santiago, I was very sad, a little depressed and I discovered that she was an oasis. Her personality was very attached, perhaps for the same reason that she lived on the street. She was very messy. I remember once I came back from college, I went into the apartment and I saw my room, and the garbage was strewn all over the floor, and she was in the middle and it seemed like nothing had happened here. For things like that I would take her out for a walk, without a chain because at that moment I didn't have one and she was walking close to me. Suddenly I crossed my legs out of shyness towards other dogs. When we got to a park, she started running and spinning, with a joy that could make you forget everything that happened to m...

Post 6 (Last Post): Expectations for 2021

My expectations for 2021 are very little optimistic, at least for the first part of the year. The vaccine will arrive in March, but that will not mean that we can return to the life we led before. Despite all this, I hope to finish my career in journalism, and if I have the opportunity to find work in something related. I hope it will be a year full of projects with friends like the one I mentioned creating a magazine, as I wrote in a previous blog. Work is an issue in itself. The media world is quite complicated, especially in our country, where the transition to digital media has been slow and difficult. And work is increasingly precarious. Although perhaps all times are difficult for journalism. What I hope for this new year, that in the constituent discussion there is a dialogue about a new legislation on the media and the right to communication, linked not only to the media issue itself, but also to culture and education. Another thing I hope is that 2021 is a good year in ...

Post N°2 The best Concert ever

One of the best concerts I went to in my life was on 5 of november of 2016. That day play Mac de Marco in the iconic discotheque Blondie. I keep the ticket in my wallet still. I went with a couple of friends, that time was the first time we saw Mac de Marco.       He is a canadian indie artist, his style contains reverb guitars and old synthesizers  added with his charismatic personality.       That day the crowd was insane. I remember jumping and forgetting myself in the mass while  Mac de Marco jumped himself into the crowd. I remember that he fell right where I was, and I just had to hold his butt to keep him on top of the public. Foto: Rodrigo Ferrari      After the concert, we were walking on Barrio Republica and a little dog started to follow us. I didn't want to follow us because I love dogs, and at times I lived with a cous...
